Perhaps you secretly harbour a desire to be a film director. Maybe you’re already working towards your goal and making your own shorts. But don’t take another step until you’ve heard the invaluable advice of Marshall Neilan (1891 – 1958), the prolific actor, writer, director and one-time husband of the magnificent Blanche Sweet.
